“What colour is music?”

This simple question was the inspiration for the Colourful Music pedagogy and its resources.

In short, Colourful Music is a fun and creative approach to music education that helps learners explore and understand music through colour. This innovative pedagogy invites participants to use a guided, colour-coded system that not only visually enriches their studies, but also supports deeper musical analysis. Simply, the Colourful Music colour-coded system for music notation is as follows: 

Colourful Music applies this simple palette to its resources, and encourages its use in lessons/events.  Colourful Music is on a mission to expand what's possible in music education—while making it more welcoming, accessible—and enriching—to all.
